Father & daughter found dead in Kalutara

COLOMBO (News 1st); Two bodies of a father aged 69-years and a daughter aged 33-years were found in a house in the Hinatiyangala area in South Kalutara South last night (30).

The father was found dead on a chair in the house and the daughter was found dead in the living room, said Sri Lanka Police.

The bodies were taken to the Kalutara Nagoda General Hospital morgue last night.

Police are conducting further investigation to find out whether the deaths were the result of murder or suicide.
