Ven. Pallewela Devarakkhitha Thero stabbed

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Chief Incumbent of the Nugegoda Gangodawila Subhadrarama Athula Rajamaha Viharaya Ven. Pallewela Devarakkhitha Thero was stabbed at the temple this afternoon (30).

The Thero is currently receiving treatment at the Kalubowila Hospital.

One person has been arrested in connection with the stabbing and Mirihana Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
