Fake Passport : Shashi Weerawansa sentenced to two years in prison

COLOMBO (News 1st); Shashi Weerawansa, the wife of Former Minister Wimal Weerawansa was sentenced to two years in prison after she was found guilty of obtaining passport by submitting false information.

The Colombo Magistrate's Court also ordered for a fine of Rs. 100,000/-, and an additional six months on prison if she does not pay the fine.
