Elections Commission to meet on Friday (27)

COLOMBO (News 1st); A special meeting of the members of the Elections Commission will be held on Friday (27).
The Chairman of the Election Commission Attorney-at-Law Nimal Punchihewa said that the economic and political crisis faced by the country will be discussed at the meeting.
He further stated that there will be a lengthy discussion on how the Election Commission can intervene within the legal framework to find a solution to the current crisis.
