Sri Lanka: Inflation measured at 33.8% for April 2022

COLOMBO (News 1st); The total rate of inflation for the month of April, as measured by the National Consumer Price Index (NCPI), is 33.8%.

The NCPI for all items for the month of April 2022, is 190.3 and it records an increase of 17.6 in index points, compared to March 2022, for which the index was 172.7.

The overall rate of inflation as measured by the NCPI on Year-on-Year basis is 33.8 percent in April this year.
