10-hour water cut today (21) and tomorrow (22)

COLOMBO (News 1st); The National Water Supply and Drainage Board states that a 10 hour water cut will be imposed in Colombo 12, 13, 14 and 15 today (21)

Accordingly, the water supply to the mentioned areas will be suspended for 10 hours from 10 PM today till 8 AM tomorrow (22).

Meanwhile, water will be supplied under low pressure for Colombo One and Colombo 11 during that period.

This is due to an essential renovation project of the water distribution system under the Greater Colombo Water and Wastewater Management Improvement Investment Program.

Due to this reason, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board requests the public to collect and store water for use during the given times.
