Passenger Bus owners want fuel priority

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Lanka Private Bus Owners' Association said that a proposal will be handed over to the transport authorities on Friday (20) to give priority to private passenger buses in the supply of diesel.

The Chairman of the Lanka Private Bus Owners' Association, Gemunu Wijeratne said the Government should take responsibility for strengthening public transport in a country where three-wheelers and other private modes of transport have been disrupted due to the shortage of petrol.
