Road leading to Parliament closed for traffic

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police said the road leading towards the country's Parliament has been closed for traffic from the Polduwa Junction.

Tuesday (17) is the first day that Parliament convenes after the appointment of the new Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

The primary task of the day is to select a suitable candidate for the post of Deputy Speaker.
