Attack on GGG was premeditated : Wimal

COLOMBO (News 1st); The attack which took place at GotaGoGama on 9th May, including the ensuing incidents were premeditated, alleged National Freedom Front Leader MP Wimal Weerawansa. 

Speaking in Parliament today (17), the MP said that the Police were cautioned, and were told to remain placid, while he continued to question the reason for the Army to not to become proactive. 

Pointing out that he is against the sentiments brought forward by SLPP MP Johnston Fernando in Parliament today (17), MP Weerawansa alleged that the entire incident took place according to a plan, including inciting the attackers by summoning them to Temple Trees. 

MP Weerawansa further alleged that the entire plan took place according to the wishes of a top Government official, and added that he spoke from experience.
