Train derails in Rambukkana

COLOMBO (News 1st); A train had derailed between Rambukkana and Kadigamuwa on Monday (16) morning, bringing the operations along the Up-Country Railway Line to a complete standstill.

Deputy General Manager of Sri Lanka Railways Gamini Seneviratne told News 1st that a Kandy to Colombo train had thus derailed.

He said that the restoration process has commenced.
