COLOMBO (News 1st); The Office of the Commissioner of Essential Services said that a special program will be implemented from today (16) to provide fuel for vehicles carrying essential commodities such as Medicine, Fuel, Gas, and Vegetables.

Commissioner General of Essential Services K.D.S. Ruwanchandra said that fuel will be provided for the vehicles transporting essential goods at selected filling stations across the country.

He further said that a list of lorries entitled to fuel under this program has been directed to filling stations via the relevant District Secretary.
