More protests underway against kerosene & fuel shortages

COLOMBO (News 1st); A protest is currently underway by people who are blocking the Colombo-Kurunegala road in the Ambagahawatta area in Minuwangoda.

Our correspondents stated that the area residents are protesting against the fuel shortage.

Meanwhile, another group is currently protesting near a filing station in the Ederamulla area in Wattala, demanding kerosene.

Residents say the area has not received kerosene for three weeks now.
