GotaGoGama reps to be summoned to Human Rights Commission

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka has decided to summon two representatives from the GotaGoGama protest for its inquiry.
This is based on the information extracted from deliberations made by Senior DIG in charge of the Western Province Deshabandu Thennakoon on Friday (13).
The Senior DIG was summoned to the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka to ascertain the failure to establish the rule of law during the violence that broke out on the 9th of May 2022 at Galle Face.
The Senior DIG did not reveal details to the media of his meeting with the Human Rights Commission.
