Imaduwa PS Chairman dead following clash

COLOMBO (News 1st); Chairman of the Imaduwa Pradeshiya Sabha A. V. Sarath Kumara was reported dead upon hospitalization following an attack on his residence.

Police said that the 63-year-old Chairman was also assaulted by a group of on Monday (9) night.

Police said the post-mortem revealed that he had suffered a heart attack.
