COLOMBO (News 1st); A tense situation arose opposite the Department of Immigration & Emigration in Kandy.

Due to urgent computer system maintenance, all branch offices including the Head Office of the Department of Immigration and Emigration will NOT be accepting one day and normal service passport applications today (05), regarding this manner the tense situation took place.

Due to this matter, heavy traffic congestion is reported along the roads in Kandy and Peradeniya.
