Shots fired in Moratuwa: One person injured

COLOMBO (News 1st); A 27-year-old man from Alubomulla was injured when unknown gunmen opened fire at him in Koralawella, Moratuwa on Wednesday (4) evening.

Police Spokesperson Attorney-at-Law SSP Nihal Thalduwa stated that two men in a motorcycle opened fire at two other men who were also traveling in a motorcycle.

The injured man was admitted to the Panadura Hospital for further treatment.

SSP Nihal Thalduwa said that an investigation is underway to arrest the suspects.
