Request by Mahanayakes cannot be ignored

COLOMBO (News 1st); His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith, the Archbishop of Colombo arrived in the country on Wednesday (4) after visiting His Holiness Pope Francis at the Vatican.

His Eminence Malcome Cardinal Ranjith urged the Government for a new beginning in Sri Lanka, immediately.

He said the request of the Mahanayake Theros of the country should be fulfilled by the leaders of the country, immediately.

He further said to the Government, without causing unnecessary situations, must be committed to solving the people's issues as it's their responsibility.
