Sri Lanka to buy LP gas from Thailand

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Cabinet has approved the import of gas from Thailand to Sri Lanka.

Chairman of Litro Vijitha Herath said that Thailand's Siam Gas Company has agreed to supply gas to Sri Lanka.

The company has also agreed to provide gas with a 10% reduction in supply charges.

However, the chairman of Litro said there would be NO change in gas prices in that situation.
