Cops prevent protestors from building platform at GotaGoGama

COLOMBO (News 1st); A group of protestors were disrupted by the Police when they attempted to construct a platform at GotaGoGama today (01).

Police were seen standing near the protestors who wrre attempting to build the structure around early morning today (01).

Earlier, a heated situation also arose at MynaGoGama when Police reportedly attacked a protestor in front of Temple Trees.

However, the protesters at GotaGoGama were seen carrying tents and canopies and marching over to MynaGoGama in support of the protestors opposite Temple Trees.
