SLFP decides to attend meeting with President

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) General Secretary, Dayasiri Jayasekara states that the SLFP, Group of 10 parties and Independent MPs have decided to attend the meeting with the President on Friday (29).

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa is expected to meet with the Parliamentarians representing the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna at the President's House, where the present political situation is expected to be discussed.

In addition, the All-Party Conference that is to be convened by the President will also be discussed at the meeting.

SLFP General Secretary Jayasekara previously stated that Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) has decided not to enter talks with the President for an All-Party Government until Suren Raghavan and Shantha Bandara are removed from their positions.
