#Rambukkana: Video footage to be submitted to Govt. Analyst

COLOMBO (News 1st); It has been decided to submit the video footage of the Rambukkana protest and the incidents that followed leading to the death of one man, to the Government Analyst.
The Police stated that these steps are being taken with the intention of conducting a comprehensive investigation.
Meanwhile, the Police stated that statements have been recorded from more than 20 people, including civilians and police officers regarding the incident.
Investigations into the Rambukkana protest are being carried out by a team of 20 CID personnel.
