Worker's remittances rise in March in comparison with February

COLOMBO (News 1st); Workers remittances rose to 318 million US dollars in March 2022, from 205 million US dollars a month ago.
The increase comes after the floating of the Sri Lankan rupee during the first week of March.
However, the last month's remittances is a drop of 48% compared to March last year, when remittances remained above 600 million US dollars in March 2021.
