#Rambukkana incident: Senior Cops transferred; CID takes over case

COLOMBO (News 1st); The investigation regarding the incident which took place in Rambukkana, where one person died and a number of people were injured has been handed over to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) by the Police IGP, Police Spokesperson SSP Nihal Thalduwa states. 

Accordingly, the OIC and the SP of Rambukkana Police and the SSP of the Kegalle Police have been transferred with immediate effect.
