COLOMBO (News 1st); The Police Officer who visited the Occupy Galle Face protest site recently, has been interdicted.

Police Spokesman, SSP Nihal Thalduwa said that the Police Sergeant was attached to the Kuttigala Police station.

He was arrested and produced to the Hulftsdorp Chief Magistrate’s Court on the 14th for attending the protest site wearing the Police uniform.

The court ordered that the Police sergeant be released on 3 personal bails of Rs. 300,000 each.
