300+ in hospital following food poisoning

Over 300 apparel workers hospitalized over a suspected case of food poisoning

COLOMBO (News 1st); 325 employees from an apparel factory in Koggala were rushed to hospital on Wednesday (20) morning, over a suspected case of food poisoning.

Karapitiya Teaching Hospital Director Dr. Shelton Perera said 16 patients are in critical condition, noting that they are suffering from dizzyness, Stomach cramps, and Vomiting.
