COLOMBO (News 1st); The Department of Meteorology announced that showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Sabaragamuwa, Central, Uva, North-central, and Eastern provinces during the evening or night.

Several spells of showers may occur in the Western province and Galle, Matara, & Puttalam districts.

The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
