COLOMBO (News 1st); The Director-General of Health Services (DGHS) has relaxed mandatory rules on the face masks, body temperature, and obtaining details of customers.

Accordingly, wearing face masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is NOT mandatory in Public Places, however, the mask is required when using public transport and when in indoor functions.

Further, checking on body temperature when entering premises is NOT required.

In addition, it is NOT required to get the details of the customer when entering the premises.
