Court re-issues summons on Cabraal; Travel ban extended to 2nd May '22

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court on Monday (18) re-issued summons on Ex-Governor of the Central Bank Ajith Nivard Cabraal, requesting him to be present in court on the 2nd of May 2022.

The overseas travel ban on Cabraal was also extended to the 2nd of May 2022.

The order was made by Colombo Additional Magistrate Harshana Kekunawla on Monday (18) as the Ex-Governor failed to appear in court as per the summons issued on the 7th of April 2022.
