COLOMBO (News 1st); The Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka has informed the government that it is a violation of fundamental rights if the peaceful assembly of the citizens protected under the Constitution is suppressed by using any unlawful methods.
Therefore, HRCSL urged the government to take necessary steps to prevent such action by the State forthwith.
