Over 600 people arrested for violating curfew

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka is under a Nationwide Curfew and over 600 people have been arrested for violating the curfew.

664 people were arrested during the curfew period around 10 PM on Saturday (2) and 6 AM Sunday (3) morning.

Sri Lanka Police said that during an operation underway in Western Province the relevant suspects were arrested.
