JUST IN: STF deployed with batons at site of protest

COLOMBO (News 1st); Police Special Task Force has been deployed with batons at the site of the ongoing protest near the President's residence in Mirihana a short while ago.

The barrier which was enacted by the Police was also broken down by the protestors.

News 1st previously reported that the internet connectivity of the area was broken down while internet connectivity in several areas was also reported down.
