People brave the weather to wait in line for gas

COLOMBO (News 1st); Wednesday (30) also saw a serious gas shortage across several areas in the country.

A spokesman for Litro said another vessel carrying 3,700 MT of gas arrived on the island on Tuesday (29) night.

According to the schedule, the gas will be unloaded on Wednesday (30)

Further, Litro said that they distributed 110,000 gas cylinders to the market on Tuesday (29).

In some areas, people were seen waiting in line for gas, despite a downpour while in some places people were holding umbrellas to protecting themsevels from the sun while waiting for gas to be delivered to their local distributor.
