COLOMBO (News 1st); Laboratories at the Colombo National Hospital have been severely affected due to the shortage of medical equipment.

A Senior Officer at the hospital told News 1st that orders have been placed for the supply of the required stocks to eliminate the shortage.

It is reported that the laboratories are operating at minimum capacity as a result of this situation.
