SL focus to outlaw gene theft

COLOMBO (News 1st); Minister of Wildlife and Forest Resources Conservation, C. B. Rathnayake stated that steps will be taken to prevent Gene Theft in the country using the latest technology.

The Ministers commencts came after the arrest of two German Nationals along with several species of plants and animals of genetic value endemic to Sri Lanka.
