SLAF limits aircrafts for MPs

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Sri Lanka Air Force has decided to limit the supply of aircraft for Members of Parliament and Ministers.

That is, taking into account the current fuel crisis and the corona epidemic.

Air Force Spokesman Group Captain Dushan Wijesinghe stated that it was decided to provide aircrafts to MPs only with the permission of the Ministry of Defense.

Meanwhile, the Air Force Spokesperson stated that steps have been taken to carry out air surveillance duties and pilot training operations jointly.

He pointed out that the existing oil reserves for the Air Force are being managed adequately for essential services.
