COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Power and Energy, Gamini Lokuge states that all petrol stations have been instructed to keep a surplus of fuel for vehicles engaged in essential services.
Minister Gamini Lokuge said that those involved in essential services should fulfill their fuel requirements after giving prior notice, and the activity should be carried out in collaboration with other petrol stations in the area.
Meanwhile, another 20,000 metric tons of diesel has been unloaded from a ship which reached Sri Lanka from Singapore.
The Minister further stated that another ship carrying 30,000 metric tons of diesel will arrive in Sri Lanka next Monday.
