COLOMBO (News 1st); The Sri Lanka Police Special Task Force arrested two men in connecting to robbing a filling station in Nawala.
The arrests were made following a tip-off.
Sri Lanka Police said one of the suspects was identified as the son of 'Sotthi Upali", a notorious criminal in Sri Lanka who died several years ago.
The suspects are aged 27 & 29 years and are residents from Colombo 8.
Five men in a three-wheeler had visited the filling station on the night of 18th March, intimidated the workers, and stolen cash from the premises.
