COLOMBO (News 1st); The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) assures that the banking system is stable, and that the operations of the State Banks are being carried out smoothly.

In a statement, the CBSL has informed the public and other stakeholders that the banking system is stable, contrary to statements made otherwise.
