Distribution of gas restricted due to irregularities: Litro

COLOMBO (News 1st); The distribution of gas has been restricted due to irregularities, says the Litro Gas Company. 

When inquired, the company stated that it distributes about a quarter of the daily production of gas cylinders in the Colombo district.

The company has 43 registered distributors, and gas is supplied to other dealers through these major distributors.

However, the distribution of gas to other dealers has been halted as the gas supplied to these 43 main distributors are being sold at the same outlet.

Due to this, the supply of gas to several essential services including hospitals has become a crisis, the company added.
