Top IMF delegation meets President

COLOMBO (News 1st); The International Monetary Fund's Director for Asia and Pacific Department, Changyong Rhee called on President Gotabaya Rajapaksa on Tuesday (15).

The meeting took place at the President's Office with representatives from both sides present.

Changyong Rhee is the Director of the Asia and Pacific Department at the IMF, where he oversees the Fund’s work on the region, including its lending operations and bilateral and multilateral surveillance of economies ranging from China, Japan, and India to the Pacific Islands.

In addition, to Changyong Rhee, the Deputy Director of Asia Pacific Department of the IMF Anne-Marie Gulde, and the IMFs Resident Representative for Sri Lanka Dr. Tubagus Feridhanusetyawan were present for the meeting with the President.
