(VIDEO) Ugly scenes at Panadura PS over protest against crises

COLOMBO (News 1st); Ugly scenes broke out on Thursday (10) morning's Panadaru Paradeshiya Sabha session after a member moved a motion to recognize the Chairman of the Local Government Institution for services rendered.

The members representing the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna were against this move and protested inside the council premises.

The session was postponed for 5 minutes, and the member returned the opposition entered the premises chanting slogans against the electricity crisis, and the fuel crisis.

Thereafter, a tense situation erupted inside the Pradeshiya Sabha Premises.
