NO end to fuel queues, many continue to wait in line

COLOMBO (News 1st); Despite assurances being given to end the shortage of fuel, many people continue to line up at filling stations to obtain fuel for their vehicles and machines.

Many filling stations were closed on Wednesday (9) due to the lack of fuel, while some filling stations sell only Diesel and in some filling stations only petrol.

Some filling stations in the country were open despite not having fuel, and many people were seen in line anticipating the arrival of a fuel bowser.

Drivers are not the only ones who are suffering because of the fuel shortage, farmers too have been affected as they cannot operate their machines without fuel.
