Personal Data Protection Bill passed with amendments

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Personal Data Protection Bill was passed in Parliament with amendments on Wednesday (9).

The Personal Data Protection Bill was presented to Parliament by Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa.

When it was produced for the second reading in Parliament, the Chief Opposition Whip MP Lakshman Kiriella said the opposition opposes the bill.
