Zoo & Safari Park entry fee revised

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Treasury has decided to revise the prices of entry tickets for Zoological Gardens in Sri Lanka.

The Senior Official of the Department of Zoology stated that steps have been taken to revise the fees due to the rising cost of animal maintenance and the problematic situation with the foreign exchange rate.

The entry fee for Zoos and Safar Parks in Sri Lanka were not revised since 2017.

     1. Dehiwala Zoo & Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage:

• Local Adults : Rs. 200/-

• Local Children : Rs. 50/-

     2. Ridiyagama Safari Park :

• Local Adults: Rs. 500/-

• Local Children : Rs. 150/-
