Father- son of same family killed in road accident

COLOMBO (News 1st); A father and a son of the same family were killed in a road accident which occurred in Puwarasankulam, Vavuniya this morning (06).

Police stated that the accident had taken place when a motorcycle had collided with a bus.

Their bodies are currently being kept at Vavuniya and Puwarasankulam hospitals.

Police stated that the bus driver involved in the accident has fled the scene after the accident.
