Special Tourist Train from Kandy to Ella

COLOMBO (News 1st): A special train for local and foreign tourists will be in operation from Kandy to Ella, starting from Saturday (Mar. 5), Sri Lanka Railways said.  The train will depart Kandy at 7:00 AM and reach the Demodara Railway Station at 2:20 PM, the Railways Department said. The return journey will commence at 3:40 PM from the Demodara Station and reach Kandy at 9:35 PM. The Railways Department said the special train ride was launched targetting local and foreign tourists.
