SJB MPs off to Geneva for Ranjan

COLOMBO (News 1st); MPs Harin Fernando and Manusha Nanayakkara of the Samagi Jana Balawegala have left for Geneva, Switzerland on Tuesday (March 1st) morning to raise matters concerning incarcerated Ex-MP Ranjan Ramanayake.

They stated that they were leaving to present facts to the UN Human Rights Commission on behalf of Ranjan Ramanayake.

The 49th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council is currently being held in Geneva.

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet is due to release her report on Sri Lanka on Wednesday (March 2nd).
