CEB to explore alternatives if CPC does not release fuel

COLOMBO (News 1st); A special discussion is being held on Monday (28) regarding the alternative methods of obtaining fuel for the Ceylon Electricity Board.

This special discussion will be held under the patronage of the Ministry of Power, Gamini Lokuge.

The Minister said that representatives of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation and Lanka IOC will also participate in the relevant discussions.

Further, he stated that if CEB does not receive Fuel from both entities, officials need to find a method to get Fuel to the CEB.
