Woman beaten to death with helmet

COLOMBO (News 1st); A 67-year-old woman was murdered after she was repeatedly attacked by a helmet in Ridigama on Wednesday (23) night.

Sri Lanka Police said a deceased woman's daughter was knocked down by the suspect who was traveling in a motorcycle, and he had attacked the woman following a heated argument over the matter.

The suspect was arrested by the Police and investigations are underway.

The body of the murdered woman was placed at the Ridigama Hospital.
