TNA representatives meet Indian HC, discusses high profile visits

COLOMBO (News 1st) ; Representatives of the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) have met with the Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Gopal Bagley on Friday (18) afternoon.

The TNA said in a statement that the visit of the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and the Minister of External Affairs of India Dr. S. Jayashankar were discussed at the meeting.

Parliamentarian R. Sampanthan has mentioned in the discussion that the Prime Minister Modi's visit to Sri Lanka will focus on the need for devolution beyond the 13th Amendment as a political solution.
